Proof of Delivery (POD)
All POD’s can be given verbally following delivery.
Alternatively, hardcopy POD’s can be provided upon request, but can take up to 96hrs before loaded on the system for retrieval (specially if delivery occurred in rural or outlying area).
Stationary
Pre-printed waybills are provided (clients with 30 day account only) to save time and to ensure correctness of waybills every time a parcel is distributed.
Stationary will also include plastic flyers, stickers for fragile consignments, multiple parcel consignments, special services (Early Bird, Sunrise, Saturday), etc.
All stationary is provided free of charge.
Insurance
DOMESTIC SERVICE
OPTIONAL Insurance is available per waybill on request at a cost of 2,5% (exVAT) of the value of the consignment. A minimum charge of R75.00 applies where customers request insurance cover.
High Value Shipments might be inspected by insurer to confirm packaging standards and status of commodity before departure. Please contact our office if unsure.
All consignments to be insured MUST be accompanied by invoice to declare value and that items are new.
Credit Facilities
Upon request by any client, a credit facility of 30 days payment terms will be awarded after credit evaluation and confirmation.
Clients on 30 day credit accounts will also qualify for preferential rates (compared to cash clinets).
